近代小说写作的民族意识与乡土情结

民族意识与对民间和乡土的追索有着天然的联系与相关性。在这样的背景之下，处于民族危机中的晚清知识人，必然生发出对于乡土与民间的重视和兴趣。他们一方面把民间资源作为文本通俗化从而“新民”的武器，而在另一方面他们又身处民间和乡土的包围之中，中国古典时代所特有的文化一体化的状况，使得民间以及乡土文化积淀在他们的心灵深处，并以集体无意识的状态影响了他们的文本创作。因此，对于民族命运的焦虑和对民间乡土的有意无意的追恋便成为了除西学东渐之外，中国近代小说写作的又一重要语境。

National Consciousness and Provincialism of Modem Novel Writing

The chasing for the culture of folk and the country naturally links with national consciousness. In this context, the intellectuals in national crisis in the late Qing Dynasty definitely focused on and interested in the culture of folk and country. On one hand, they proposed to popularize the literature by using the resources of the folk and country to change the unenlightened thinking of the common people. On the other hand, they were surrounded by the culture of folk and country. The cultural integration situation in the classical era of China maked the culture of folk and country deposit in their hearts and affected their literature creation in the state of collective unconscious. Therefore, the naturally or half unconsciously seeking of love for the anxiety of the fate of the nation becomes another important context for the Chinese modern fiction writing apart from learning from Western knowledge and spreading East knowledge.
