媒体时代下美国后现代主义诗歌中意象的嬗变

媒体时代下美国后现代主义诗人的创作和各种大众媒体紧密联系在一起,诗人的表达方式和发表途径都受到了颠覆性的挑战。在传媒化语言的影响下,以往作为诗歌中心的意象表现方式由具体客观事物转而由抽象词语和精心设计的句法结构来表现。形象化诗歌意象建构的方式则与视觉文化通过图像和符号传达信息的方式有共通之处。与传统诗歌相比,美国后现代主义诗人对于传统诗歌中客观事物构成的意象效果的依赖已经变弱,倾向直抒胸臆的写作方式,诗歌创作从而进入了新的发展阶段。

The Change of Image of American Postmodernist Poetry in the Media Era

In the media era,the creation of American postmodern poets is closely related to various mass media,and their ways of expression and publication are challenged subversively.Under the influence of the media language,the expressive way of image,which used to be the center of the poetry,has changed.It is no longer expressed by the specific objective things,but by abstract words and syntactic structure.And the constructive way of images in visualizingpoems is in common with visual culture.That means they both usepictures and symbols to convey information.In the traditional poems,the effect of image is conveyed by objective things.Comparatively,the dependence of image effect has become weak in postmodern American poetry.The writing style inclines to express one’s feelings directly.Thereby,the poetic creation has entered into the new stage of development.
