试论党争现象对雅典民主制的影响

自公元前5世纪起,受民主制确立的影响,雅典社会中的党争现象主要表现为政客们围绕城邦的具体事务所展开的党派斗争。一方面,党争造成雅典政坛的混乱,影响城邦的行政效率;另一方面,党争也从诸多方面促进了民主制的发展。在民主制下,尽管党争频繁发生,但雅典依然保持稳定,城邦的发展也呈上升趋势。这一事实说明党争并不必然导致城邦的动荡或衰落。
