论20世纪30年代胡风与周扬关于典型问题的论争

20世纪30年代,胡风与周扬就典型问题展开了一场极有文学价值的论争。虽然双方观点各有正误,但由于这场论争发生在我国典型理论的初建阶段,所以,对于我国现代文学理论建设和马克思主义文艺典型论的中国化具有重要的开创性意义。然而,由于他们又都是从认识论的一般性原则出发阐释典型的本质的,因而,未能划清图解生活与艺术概括、审美创造的本质界限。

The Controversy over the Question of Typicality Between Hu Feng and Zhou Yang in the 1930s

In the 1930s, Hu Feng and Zhou Yang launched a literary controversy over the question of typicality. As the controversy took place at the beginning stage of building a literay theory, it had important initiative meanings to our modern literary theory construction with Marxist viewpoint of literature and art. But because they proceeded from general principle of epistemology to explain the nature of typicality, they failed to draw a clear line between illustrating life and summarizing art for aesthetic creation.
