| 摘 要： | 明代苏州,随着农业、手工业和商业的恢复与发展,城市日趋繁荣,不仅成为江南地区政治与军事中心,而且也成为全国的丝织业中心之一和商业大都会。在城市经济发展和人口激增的同时,各种社会矛盾逐渐激化。如何加强城市的建设和管理,成为统治集团必须面对和解决的重大问题。

| Abstract: | Suzhou made its way towards prosperity during the Ming Dynasty with the revival and boom of agriculture,trade and handicraft industry.It was not only the political and military center in the south of China,but also a business hub and one of the centers of textile industry.However,with the success of economy and steep increase of population,all kinds of social problems intensified.Therefore,how to build and administrate the city turned out to be an important issue confronting the local government. |
