陕西城镇化水平的区域差异及其变化趋势探析

城镇化既是一个国家或地区经济发展的重要标志,也是衡量一个国家或地区社会组织程度和管理水平的重要标志。单纯采用市(镇)人口占全部人口的百分比来表示城镇化水平有很大的缺陷。根据城镇化水平的内涵,提出了衡量城镇化水平的指标体系,并以陕西为研究对象,具体分析了其城镇化水平的变化趋势及区域差异。结果表明,陕西省1999-2008年期间的城镇化水平整体上呈上升趋势,2008年陕西省各城市的城镇化水平差异较大,总体来讲,关中地区城镇化水平最高,陕北地区次之,陕南地区最低。

Analysis of Regional Differences and Changing Trend of Urbanization Level in Shaanxi Province

Urbanization is not only an important symbol of a national or regional economic development,but also an important symbol of social organization and management level of a country or an area.Only using the proportion of urban(town) population to show the level of urbanization has big limitation.According to the connotation of the level of urbanization,the index system to measure the level of urbanization is made.Using Shaanxi Province as an object of study,changing trends and regional differences of its level of urbanization are analysized in detail.The results show that,its level of urbanization shows an increasing trend in Shaanxi during the period of 1999-2008,and the levels of urbanization of the cities of Shaanxi in 2008 are quite different,in which the level of urbanization of the middle region is the highest,followed by the northern region,while that of the southern region is the lowest.
