| Abstract: | With the application of the contemporary feminist literary and cultural theories,this essay intends to reread an epoch-making masterpiece of British literature,Joseph Conrad's novella Heart of Darkness.From the feminist perspective,this essay aims at decoding the embodied sexual politics.In the gender construction and characterization,patriarchal ideologies and its fantasies are pervasive in this classic novella. |
