An Analysis of the Disadvantaged Groups among College Students in the Construction of Harmonious Society

In recent years,our country's higher education has changed from elite education to mass education,so the disadvantaged groups among college students become an extremely important part and draw attention in harmonious society. Paying attention to the disadvantaged groups and studying and solving related problems,are of vital significance to the improvement of college students' integrated quality as well as universities'stability,especially to the construction of the socialist harmonious society. This article attempts to begin with the main characteristics of the disadvantaged groups among college students and then analyzes their present situation and the reasons they come into being. Besides,through the discussion and exploration of the meaning of the disadvantaged groups to the harmonious society,some practical countermeasures are put forward in order to solve the problem.
