| 摘 要： | “隘”是宁波地名常用字，它的读音非常特殊，读ɡà，不读ài。宁波地名“隘ɡà有音理依据，有历史渊源，有广泛的社会认同，权威字典、词典应该增补“隘”的地名读音ɡà。这样，既能客观地反映语言事实，又能为读者查考提供便利，同时也符合保护地名文化资源、尊重地方语言权利的社会诉求。

| Abstract: | Being a commonly-used word for a geographic name in Ningbo,the Chinese character ＂隘＂ is pronounced as ɡàinstead of ài by the local people.Such a pronunciation is not only phonetically based and historically originated,but also well recognized by the society.The article makes an appeal to authoritative dictionaries to add such a pronunciation.The addition can objectively reflect the factual situation of the language used,offer convenience to the readers and meet the local requirements to protect the geographical culture resources and to show respects to local people of their language rights. |
