社会公正是现代社会、民主国家普遍的价值观,是当前我国物质、政治、精神三大文明建设共同追求的主要目标之一.大众传媒作为公共空间,其宗旨是塑造社会的公共精神,社会公正是作为公共空间的大众传媒之价值核心.为此,大众传媒应着力于促进人权发展、限制公共权力、增进人民幸福、维护社会公平,并将重点放在培养社会公众特别是占我国人口多数的农民的政治能力方面.

The Core Value of Mass Media as Public Space: Social Justice

Social justice,as the general value of modern society and democratic countries, is one of the main objectives of material,political and spiritual three civilization constructions in China at present.As public space,the essence of mass media is to mould social public spirit;the core value of it lies in social justice.Therefore,mass media is supposed to promote the development of human right,to limit public right,to improve public well-being,to maintain social justice, and to focus on the cultivation of the political ability of the mass especially that of the farmers' who take up the majority of the population.
