The Khitan government positively promoted the policies in favor of the regional culture development in two hundred years of Liao Dynasty.The school education and Confucianism progressed at a rapid rate and achieved a rich harvest in the Liao-Hai region.The number of private schools and public schools at all levels made rapid progress,which helped cultivate many young talents for the imperial examinations.Many officials and nobles of Khitan,Han and Bohai who were good at Confucianism and were eager to bless the governed areas did bring benefits to the locality and make remarkable contributions to the Liao-Hai region.They have been praised and followed by the descendants of the time.
