As a rising and responsible leading power in international affairs,what kind of cultural strategy China adopts is very significant.The universality in Chinese cultural construction should be strengthened,but not the particularity.The emphasis on cultural particularity is a kind of defensive strategy.Instead,the soft power of Chinese culture can only be improved by promoting the superiority of traditional culture and actively participating into the construction of the new universality so as to gain more power of discourse in global cultural competition.
