Every Culture has its own core idea. The core idea of Chinese traditional culture is Benevolence. The Benevolence, in Chinese traditional culture, is defined as a basic ethic idea of two persons as one. It means the human beings should love each other. The core idea of culture is very important to the development of basic personality structure of individual. The influence mechanism of culture to the development of human basic personality structure is same\|structure\|mapping. According to the authors opinion, the comprehension of the core idea of culture is a key to the understanding of the basic personality structure of a person or of a nation.
