五笔输入法和拼音输入法的认知效率比较

通过三个任务,比较五笔输入法和拼音输入法的认知效率。文章录入的结果表明,五笔组被试汉字输入速度快,易犯形码混淆错误;拼音组被试汉字输入速度慢,易犯音码混淆错误。错误检查的结果表明,五笔组被试易发现音误而漏查形误,拼音组被试易发现形误而漏查音误。主题写作的结果表明,五笔组被试计算机作文的命题数和字数均比拼音组被试显著多。整个研究表明,使用者对两种输入法熟练程度相当的情况下,五笔输入法比拼音输入法具有更高的认知效率,是优中之优的输入法。

A comparative of the cognitive efficiency between Pinyin .and Wubi Typewriting

Three tasks were designed to compare the cognitive efficiency of Pinyin and Wubi （five- stoke） typewriting. The article-input tests show that wubi group had faster input of Chinese characters and more graphic-code errors while pinyin group had slower input and more pronunciation-code errors. The analysis of errors show that wubi group tended to notice pronunciation errors while overlook graphic ones, and pinyin group tended to note graphic errors but overlook pronunciation ones. The result of theme writing indicates that wubi group had inputted significantly more propositions and letters than the pinyin group. The study shows that, on condition that user is equally familiar with both of the input methods, wubi typewriting method is cognitively more efficient than Pinyin typewriting method.
