| Abstract: | Analyzing the connotation and practical significance of the principle"ruling the country by virtue",the author gives an exposition on the essential distinction between this principle advocated by the Communist Party of China(CPC)and the slogan entitled"ruling the country by virtue",which was preached by the exploiting classes of past ages.Discussed further in this paper are some other questions such as the relation between"ruling the country by virtue"and "ruling the country by law",and the issues to be settled seriously by CPC under the conditions of socialist market eco_nomy. |
