Critic Teaching Methods in TS

This paper discusses critical teaching methods in TS （Teaching Translation as a Professional Skill）, and proposes some concrete approaches in the framework of critical teaching mode： focusing on key issues and important concepts; fostering cultural awareness in students through teaching humanities knowledge; critical reading on materials in textbooks; and comparative study of different renditions of same source texts. Student-centered teaching method is adopted in critical teaching mode to achieve teacher-student interaction. Students＇ potential will be fully tapped, and ability in expression will be improved as well. In this teaching framework, the students can transplant the positive imagery of translation in target language.
