政治文化在各类政治行为层面上都普遍发生作用 ,在个体行为层面上的主要作用力有三类 ,即内驱作用力、维持作用力和调适作用力。它们的作用是 :内化个体的政治行为表现 ,将个人行为反映到个人的心理深层 ,并对此不断地加以反馈和修整 ;维持个体参加政治活动的方向、强度和平衡性 ,使个人在社会政治生活中表现为一个协调的对象 ;控制和调节个人在政治生活中可能遇到的问题 ,克服因此而引起的各种挫折 ,保持社会政治生活的集体协调。研究这类作用力对社会政治系统的运行有重要意义

On the three functions of political cultureat the level of personal behavior

Political culture functions at different levels of political behavior and has three major functions at the personal behavior level including internal force, maintaining and adjustment. They function to internalize personal political behavior deep into the mind of the person and constantly reflect on and modify it; to maintain the direction, intensity and balance of personal political participation, presenting the person as a consistent identity in social and political life; to control and adjust problems one might meet in social and political life, overcome obstacles these problems might incur and maintain a collective coordination in political behavior.
