| 摘 要： | 美国作家巴思所倡导的小说技巧革新的思想在其早期作品中已有所表现:作者通过戏拟和语言游戏等后现代主义文学表现手法揭示了以存在主义为代表的现代主义文学的危机,预示着现代主义文学已经走入困境,也预示着以‘语言’为中心的后现代主义文学的到来。

| Abstract: | Through an analysis of The End of the Road by John Barth,this paper points out that the technical innovation advocated by Barth has found expression in his own early works: by adopting some postmodernistic techniques like parody and language play,the author reveals the crisis of modernistic literature represented by existentialism and predicts the end of modernistic literature as well as the coming of postmodernistic literature whose focus is on "language". |
