| Abstract: | This paper describesthe processof evolutionof the Chu people on the basis of the ancient literature, archaeologicaland folkloristic studies, which reveals the multi-origin of the Chu people. The author argues that the Chu People's migration to the south accuredwhen the Yu was fighting againstthe Sanmiao. |
