| Abstract: | In modern China, the counter-tradition enlightenment campaign, which followed the example of the West, appeared when the nation was in danger of extinction. The enlightenment campaign promoted the political salvation, but it didn't accomplish the regeneration of the deep-leveled Chinese culture because of the emergency of the political salvation. |
