20世纪儒家哲学研究概况

20世纪儒家哲学研究可以1949年为界分成前后两大部分。其中1949年以前又可分为三个阶段:即新文化运动前西方哲学理论的初步输入时期、新文化运动前后儒家哲学研究理论框架的形成时期、三四十年代儒家哲学三大研究局面的确立时期。1949年后的儒家哲学研究可从地域上分为中国大陆、港台、海外三部分,其中大陆的儒家哲学研究又可从时间上分为文革前、文革十年、文革后三个阶段。各时期研究的问题及研究方法有明显的时代特点,其中儒家哲学史分期问题、儒家哲学能否成立及如何成立等问题,作为儒学研究的首要问题为各时期研究者所共同关注。

A Survey of Confucian Philosophy Research in the 20th Century

The Confucian philosophy research in the 20th century can be divided into two parts, with the year of 1949 as the boundary line. The first part can again be divided into three phases, they are, the period of Western philosophical theory coming to China before the new culture movement, the period around the new culture movement when the theory framework of Confucian philosophy research was making, while 1930s and 1940s is the third period when the three research aspects of Confucian philosophy was establishing. The second part included three areas: Mainland of China, Hong Kong and Taiwan and abroad. The Confucian philosophy research in Mainland can be divided into three phases, including the period before the Culture Revolution, the period of the Culture Revolution and the period after the Culture Revolution. There are different topics and different methods in different periods, but the most important topics in common are the periodization of the history of Confucian philosophy.
