后现代主义小说的尴尬

摘    要:从叙述学角度看,18、19世纪的现实主义小说作家与读者有一种亲和关系,作品被认为是现实生活的延续;而现代主义小说作品则对现实世界产生怀疑,作家与读者和现实相脱节,小说叙述向客观化、非个人化方向发展.后现代主义小说与现实的距离更大,作家将多元、破碎的文本迫使读者介入,由于本文神秘、不可解读,读者往往望而却步.后现代主义小说要走出误区,就必须建立文本与读者的联系,重新定位.

Abstract:If judged from a narrative perspective, a kinship can be seen between the realistic novelists and their readers in the eighteenth and the nineteenth centuries for their works were looked at the continuation of reality, while postmodernists are suspicious of the real world and the writers were estranged with their readers. Postmodernists turn their narration to objectiveness and inhumaneness. Postmodernist fiction enlarges its gap with the readers who have to face a variegated and obliterated text which invites their participation. Readers sometimes find no access to the mysterious and incomprehensible texts. For postmodernist fiction, the only way out is to establish a new relationship between the text and its readers.
