蒙文通的今古文经学观

蒙文通继承廖平,以礼制区分今、古文经学,认为今文经学已偏离了先秦孟、荀之学的端绪。蒙文通对廖平及康有为关于古文经学本于刘歆作伪的观点持有不同的意见,指出古文学的特点是敦于笃行,而疏于思究,并提出“舍今古之异同而上求之齐鲁”,以探究先秦儒学之旨。

Meng Wen-tong' s View on Confucian Study of "Present Font" and "Ancient Font" and History

After Liao Ping,Meng Wen-tong distinguishes the study of Confucian Classics into two kinds:"present Font"one and "ancient Font"one,according to the Li system.He thinks that "present Font" one has strayed from Mencius and Xuncius.He disagrees with Liao Ping and Kang Youwei on the point that the study of "ancient Font" Confucian Classics is based on Liu Xin's fabrication.He points out that the study of "ancient Font" Confucian Classics was characteristic of the thickness of practice and of the thinness of pondering.He claims "to discard the similarities and differences of the present or ancient Fonts and date back to the schools of Qi and Lu" in order to probe into the meaning of Confucianism in pre-Qin.
