On the Connotation, Characteristics and Exploitation of Jinyang Buddhist Culture

Jinyang is a place with a long history,rich contents and typical features in Buddhist culture.This article analyses the basic connotation and characteristics of Buddhism in this region,and comes to conclusion that the high lights of Jinyang Buddhism lie on : one Bodhisattva(Manjusri),two schools(Pure Land Buddhism and Avatamsaka School),three temples(Double Tower Temple,Chongshan Temple and Baiyun Temple),four mountains(Tianlong,Taishan,Mengshan and Juewei).Moreover,the article studies the basic principles of exploitation and the standards for evaluating Jinyang Buddhist Resources.
