| 摘 要： | 本文从理解和表达两个角度分析了文学作品中的翻译实例,说明英汉基本颜色词丰富的文化伴随意义及其差异,决定了它们在翻译中不可避免的语义损失,并在此基础上探讨了几种减少语义损失的补偿方法.

| Abstract: | By analyzing the examples of translated literary works from the perspectives of both incorrect interpretation and deficient representation,this paper demonstrates that great differences in the cultural connotations of basic color terms between Chinese and English will lead to loss of meaning in translation. It also recommends several ways to compensate for the loss of meaning. |
