| 摘 要： | 通过对英语There存在句进行VP壳分析发现,动词的句法特征与其补足语的位置之间关系密切。There存在句中的动词是非宾格动词时,非宾格动词短语由vP＋VP构成,其补足语留在原位;There存在句中的动词是及物动词时,具有可解特征的Tr在vP和VP之间投射形成及物性短语TrP,被动语态动词短语由vP＋TrP＋VP构成,其补足语前置。在＂一致＂核查中,T作为探针与目标短语进行特征匹配,不可解特征被删除后获得具体的形态和语音拼读,同时目标限定词短语获得主格格位。

| Abstract: | In this article the computational derivation of English Existentials with there-insertion is discussed according to the feature checking theory and VP shell analysis in the framework of the Minimalist Program.If the verb in existential with there-insertion is an unaccusative verb,the unaccusative verb phrase is vP+VP structure,its complement remains in situ;whereas if the verb in existential with there-insertion is a transitive verb,a functional head which encodes an interpretable Transitivity property projects into a TrP between vP and VP,the passive verb phrase is vP+TrP+VP structure,its complement is preposed.As for Agreement,T serves as a probe which searches for a goal to match,and gets its spellout after its uninterpretable features being deleted. |
