民国时期,康区金融业相当混乱,先后流行多种货币;地方财政收入微薄,百姓民不聊生,社会经济生活长期处于困顿、艰难的状态。康区的金融财政萧条与当时全国国民经济发展迟缓有密切的关系,为国际、国内大的社会政治环境所决定。

Financial Situation in Kham Area During the Republic of China Period

During the period of Republic of China, the finance was in a considerably chaos in the Kham Area, where a variety of currencies had been in circulation in succession. The local fiscal revenue being meager, the social economic life was thrown, during a rather long period of time, into stagnation and difficulty, as the result of which the people were landed in stark poverty. The depression of finance in the Kham Area was closely related to the retardation of development of the then national economy, resulted from the general domestic and international socio-political situation at the time.
