方国瑜和南诏大理史研究

作为云南地方史、民族史的奠基者 ,方国瑜先生在诸多学术领域作出了开创性的贡献。本文以对方先生南诏大理史研究成果的研读为基础 ,从南诏大理史料的搜集与整理、历史地理问题、若干重要论述、方国瑜研究成果的学术价值与方法论意义四个方面 ,对方国瑜先生在南诏大理史研究中所作出的贡献给予述评。     

中国资本“走出去”的困境与出路

伴随着中国对外直接投资的规模和速度不断增长,涌现出一大批有一定实力的企业向海外扩张,“走出去”已经成为企业进一步提升竞争力的必由之路.然而,随之而来的诸多问题又导致了中国资本在“走出去”的过程中陷入困境.文章从发展研究的视角,基于坦桑尼亚某中资国有企业的田野调查,提出了海外国有企业在运营中面临的两大困境：一是经济效益与国家利益冲突的困境;二是解决劳资纠纷时,“找法院”与“找政府”的选择困境.并深入分析造成两大困境的主要原因,最后尝试提出一些解决对策,为企业和政府提供参考依据.     

Investing in the Citizen-workers of the Future: Transformations in Citizenship and the State under New Labour

There is growing interest in the idea of the “social investment state”. This paper analyses the emergence of such a state in the UK, in the context of a brief account of the more general transformations of citizenship and the state under New Labour. It argues that, despite the iconic status of the child in the social investment state, it is the child as “citizen‐worker” of the future rather than “citizen‐child” of the present who is invoked by the future‐oriented discourse of social investment.     

冯亭献上党与赵国实为诈降辨

本文通过对诸多史料的辨析认为,战国后期,冯亭献上党与赵国是其暗降秦国的诈降,冯亭的华阳君封号非赵国所封,冯亭后人在长平战后留潞和迁赵反映了冯氏家族在献上党问题上的分裂。     

孤竹国释论--一支华夏化的东北夷

商周时期的孤竹国人原是东北夷中的一支 ,世居在今河北省东北部和辽宁省西南部。不仅与商王室同姓 ,而且是商政权北部拥有相当力量的诸侯国。从其名号文化的内涵、语言文字及某些习俗 ,还有伯夷、叔齐的事迹等方面判定 ,这支东北夷在商代大体完成华夏化进程 ,成为东北地区世居类型的汉族之先世。孤竹国人与其他共同体并肩开发东北南部广大地区 ,为燕国以及秦汉积极经略这一地区提供了条件。     

杜宇为何称望帝

杜宇是继蚕丛、柏灌、鱼凫之后，第四个在成都平原立国的蜀王。文献记载杜宇“乃自立为蜀王，号日望帝，治汶山下，邑日郫，化民往往复出”。然而，杜宇为什么会被称为望帝？杜宇称帝又说明了什么？而杜宇又是怎样称帝的呢？文章对这些问题进行了逐一分析与解答。     

Reml and best linear unbiased prediction in state space models

This article takes a hierarchical model approach to the estimation of state space models with diffuse initial conditions. An initial state is said to be diffuse when it cannot be assigned a proper prior distribution. In state space models this occurs either when fixed effects are present or when modelling nonstationarity in the state transition equation. Whereas much of the literature views diffuse states as an initialization problem, we follow the approach of Sallas and Harville (1981,1988) and incorporate diffuse initial conditions via noninformative prior distributions into hierarchical linear models. We apply existing results to derive the restricted loglike-lihood and appropriate modifications to the standard Kalman filter and smoother. Our approach results in a better understanding of De Jong's (1991) contributions. This article also shows how to adjust the standard Kalman filter, the fixed inter- val smoother and the state space model forecasting recursions, together with their mean square errors, for he presence of diffuse components. Using a hierarchical model approach it is shown that the estimates obtained are Best Linear Unbiased Predictors (BLUP).

无近亲属或近亲属不明的受害人被伤害致死,其生前所欠医疗费、护理费、交通费、住宿费的债权人,得向加害人行使具有物权性的追偿权;有权接受其遗产者得提出误工费、死亡补偿费赔偿;料理死者后事者享有丧葬费等费用请求权;与受害人间无法定权利义务的扶养人、被扶养人有权享有属于遗产部分的请求权.死亡赔偿是加害人必须承担的责任,国家接受死亡赔偿具有正当性,民政部门作为请求权人具有妥当性.立法建议民政部门接受赔偿后,代为支付上述费用后,所余归国家所有.     

The Political Role of Service Delivery in State‐Building: Exploring the Relevance of European History for Developing Countries

Concerns about failed and fragile states have put state‐ and nation‐building firmly on the academic and policy agenda, but the crucial role of public services in this process has remained underexplored. The 1960s and ‘70s generated a substantial set of literature that is largely missing from current writing. It identified state penetration, standardisation and accommodation as key processes in the state‐ and nation‐building sequence. This article analyses these three processes in Western Europe in the seventeenth to nineteenth centuries, and the role of public services therein, to explore how they may help us to understand the success and failure of state‐ and nation‐building in developing countries and fragile states.
