图式理论、学习策略与大学英语口语教学

本研究采用定量分析的方法,对84名天水师范学院非英语专业的学生的口语水平进行测试。根据图式理论,口语任务分为有关键词及句型提示类和无提示类,并对被试的学习策略使用情况做了调查,结果发现,口语任务有提示与无提示对学生的口语成绩有显著影响,这说明图式理论完全适用于大学英语口语教学。     

Estimation of global temperature fields from scattered observations by a spherical-wavelet-based spatially adaptive method

Summary.  The paper considers the problem of estimating the entire temperature field for every location on the globe from scattered surface air temperatures observed by a network of weather-stations. Classical methods such as spherical harmonics and spherical smoothing splines are not efficient in representing data that have inherent multiscale structures. The paper presents an estimation method that can adapt to the multiscale characteristics of the data. The method is based on a spherical wavelet approach that has recently been developed for a multiscale representation and analysis of scattered data. Spatially adaptive estimators are obtained by coupling the spherical wavelets with different thresholding (selective reconstruction) techniques. These estimators are compared for their spatial adaptability and extrapolation performance by using the surface air temperature data.

Problems with Maximum Likelihood Estimation and the 3 Parameter Gamma Distribution

The three parameters involved are scale a , shape 𝜌 , and location s . Maximum likelihood estimators are (\hata, \hat\rho, \hats) . Using recent work on the second order variances, skewness, and kurtosis we establish the facts, that if the location parameter s is to be estimated, then the asymptotic variances only exist if 𝜌 >2, asymptotic skewness only exists if 𝜌 >3, and 2nd order variances and third order fourth central moments only exist if 𝜌 >4. The result of these limitations is that in general very large sample sizes may be needed to avoid inference problems. We also include new continued fractions for the asymptotic covariances of the maximum likelihood estimators considered.

我国统一货币政策调控的区域效应非对称性分析

由于人民币升值的压力和我国国际收支的双顺差,外国资产迅速扩张,外汇占款成了我国基础货币的主要投放渠道。由于各区域的经济对外开放程度存在差异,统一的货币政策在不同区域的效应可能存在差异。通过对我国2004年第1季度至2011年第2季度央行统一的货币政策操作在不同区域的政策效应的非对称性进行了理论分析和实证检验,认为对东中西部应分别采用不同的货币政策。     

社会组织在推进社会和谐发展中的作用研究

从理论上看,社会组织的优势使其在动员社会资源、服务弱势群体、参与社会矛盾的预警和化解、进行政策建议和倡导等方面发挥着重要作用,推进社会的和谐发展。然而,在目前中国"强政府、弱社会"的政府与社会关系格局中,社会组织的发展及其应有功能的发挥高度依赖政府为其提供的外部环境。为此,政府要全面地认识社会组织的功能,改变对社会组织的被动管理模式,在制度设计上更加具有主动性,通过开放更大的制度空间以及全面拓展社会组织的功能领域来推动社会组织的发展,使其正面功能得以充分发挥。     

固定效应部分线性变系数面板模型的快速有效估计

本文将最小二乘支持向量机(LSSVM) 和二次推断函数法(QIF) 相结合，为个体内具有相关结构的固定效应部分线性变系数面板模型提供了一种新的快速估计方法；在一定的正则条件下，论证了参数估计量的渐近正态性和非参数估计量的收敛速度；采用Monte Carlo模拟考察了估计方法在有限样本下的表现并将估计技术应用于现实数据分析。该方法不仅保证了估计的有效性和统计推断力，而且程序运行速度得到较大幅度提升。     

Whose Responsibility is it? A Call for the Integration of the Knowledge of Substance Misuse in Social Work Education,Practice and Research

This commentary is based on the review of two articles written by Hutchinson and Allnock (2014a; 2014b) presented in this journal issue. The commentary reviews the two articles and other research on the integration of substance misuse in social work education, practice and research. Four lessons are presented in terms of how to enhance the knowledge and skills around substance misuse by creating stronger links between social work education, practice and research.
