情态与情态系统的体现：系统功能语言学的视觉

从系统功能语言学的角度探讨英语情态的本质及其体现。情态本质上属于主观范畴,情态是由特定语句中的小句来实现的。语境对情态的体现及其意义的确定有着重要的作用,而句子的不同的构成方式所体现的情态在意义上有着取向的不同。     

Conditional Functional Principal Components Analysis

Abstract.  This work proposes an extension of the functional principal components analysis (FPCA) or Karhunen–Loève expansion, which can take into account non-parametrically the effects of an additional covariate. Such models can also be interpreted as non-parametric mixed effect models for functional data. We propose estimators based on kernel smoothers and a data-driven selection procedure of the smoothing parameters based on a two-step cross-validation criterion. The conditional FPCA is illustrated with the analysis of a data set consisting of egg laying curves for female fruit flies. Convergence rates are given for estimators of the conditional mean function and the conditional covariance operator when the entire curves are collected. Almost sure convergence is also proven when one observes discretized noisy sample paths only. A simulation study allows us to check the good behaviour of the estimators.

“系谱同类项”与“功能同类项”——比较文学研究中的一组理论对子

在比较文学研究中,我们不难发现,历史上在空间上并没有接触的两个文化之中依然存在着诸多惊人相似的“品种”,本文把这种相似性的文化“品种”,称为异文化之间的“系谱同类项”。同时,我们又发现,各民族文化的“系谱同类项”在各自的文化系统中所承担的功能不尽相同,有些本来不属“系谱同类项”的,却发挥着相同的功能,本文将之称为“功能同类项”。本文以中国、希腊两个民族的几个原始文化“品种”为例,对这两个新概念的合理性进行论证,认为它们可为比较文学研究提供了一组新的概念对子。

针对不同的文化背景下词语带给读者的联想意义有差别的问题,以功能翻译理论为指导,用概念转换法来解决诗性隐喻的翻译。将原语中本体和喻体的联想意义用译语文字来表述,保证联想意义在译语中等值的语境效果。以期说明功能翻译理论指导诗性隐喻的翻译的可操作性和实践性。     

Ultrastructural elliptical models

Dolby's (1976) ultrastructural model with no replications is investigated within the class of the elliptical distributions. General asymptotic results are given for the sample covariance matrix S in the presence of incidental parameters. These results are used to study the asymptotic behaviour of some estimators of the slope parameter, unifying and extending existing results in the literature. In particular, under some regularity conditions they are shown to be consistent and asymptotically normal. For the special case of the structural model, some asymptotic relative efficiencies are also reported which show that generalized least squares and the method of moment estimators can be highly inefficient under nonnormality.

翻译是跨语言的交际活动 ,更是跨文化的交际活动。译者不但要注重语言 ,更要注重语言所载负的文化现象。翻译的目的不仅在于传承原文本身的语言价值 ,还在于使读者更好更准确地体会其文化涵义。文章在功能对等原则的基础上 ,通过剖析归化法和异化法在翻译比喻词时的不同效果 ,探讨两者对跨文化交流的作用 ,以及译者应采取的策略。     

多科性研究型大学办学指导思想下的图书馆职能转换及建设对策

建设国际知名、国内高水平多科性研究型大学已成为北京林业大学的办学指导思想和奋斗目标 ,因此 ,图书馆面临着服务对象、服务内容、服务方式、服务针对性、服务层次等 5个方面的职能转换。针对形势变化和学校建设的需求 ,该文提出了图书馆在 4个方面的建设对策 :①建设研究型特色图书馆 ;②建设能提供深层次、全方位的文献信息导航服务的导航体系 ;③对文献信息资源进行重组和优化配置 ,建设特色馆藏 ;④启动支撑学科建设尤其是重点学科建设的“数字图书馆工程项目”。
