艾什诺兹多部小说的创作在对生活世界和异域空间的展现中都表现出反常的特征？：遥远的异域空间召唤的是司空见惯和衰败残破的景象,而身边原本熟捻的世界却是奇异陌生的,奔走游弋于这些地理空间的人物只能是一批虚假的游客和无家可归的人。艾什诺兹独特的地理叙事艺术地再现了后现代社会人的生存困境,同时也传递着作家对人的生存出路的思考。     

Dependence function for continuous bivariate densities

The notion of cross-product ratio for discrete two-way contingency table is extended to the case of continuous bivariate densities. This results in the “local dependence function” that measues the margin-free dependence between bivariate random variables. Properties and examples of the dependence function are discussed. The bivariate normal density plays a special role since it has constant dependence. Continuous bivariate densities can be constructed by specifying the dependence function along with two marginals in analogy to the construction of two-way contingency tables given marginals and patterns of interaction. The dependence function provides a partial ordering on bivariate dependence.     

辽宁“十二五”工业经济发展规划的战略思考——基于产业竞争力的视角

基于产业竞争理论分析辽宁工业经济发展的现状，针对其中存在的利润率低、工业内部配套能力弱、产业之间发展不协调和民间投资被挤出等结构性问题分析其产生原因，认为政府主导资源推动型的发展方式和政府产业规划的雷同性及路径依赖性是造成结构性失衡的主要原因。为此，建议政府在编制辽宁“十二五”工业经济发展规划时应考虑效益指标，按产业发展周期和要素、需求条件等规划重点发展产业，并处理好支柱产业与支撑产业、相关产业之间的关系。     

A generalized negative binomial and applications

A generalized negative binomial distribution is derived from the Markov Bernoulli sequence of successes and failures. We study the properties and applications of this distribution. The properties are illustrated by two examples of discrete time queueing systems. The distribution is then fitted to two data sets, the eruption record of Mt. Sangay, and a record of computer disk failure accesses. In the first case there is a strong serial dependence in the data and the generalized negative binomial provides a good fit, while in the second case, although there is a significant serial dependence, it is insufficient to justify the additional parameter of the distribution. We conclude by demonstrating the usefulness of the distribution in the field of statistical quality control.     

试论中国社团的“官办”特性——路径依赖分析

新制度经济学中的路径依赖理论认为,路径依赖的产生源于旧体制中既得利益集团的阻挠和非正式制度安排的影响,而打破"锁定"状态除了从自身寻求出路外,往往还要借助于外部效应。这一理论对于解释中国社团的官办特性具有较强的适用性。中国社团的官办特性说到底是计划体制下的一种路径依赖,倘若对造成社团官办特性的种种路径依赖因素进行有意识的制度创新,将有助于减少路径依赖的负面影响,使我国的社团更能朝着良性的轨迹发展。

随着城市的发展,大量沿街商铺的涌现,门牌设置出现了同一座楼房楼下为道路门牌系统,楼上为小区门牌系统的混乱状况,如何处理片区地名的命名成为地名规划工作中的棘手问题。本文指出城市片区地名起到的作用、引发的问题,深入剖析其中原因,并提出建议,为今后地名规划工作和城市生活提供帮助。     

Strong laws of large numbers for dependent heterogeneous processes: a synthesis of recent and new results

This paper surveys recent developments in the strong law of large numbers for dependent heterogeneous processes. We prove a generalised version of a recent strong law for Lz-mixingales, and also a new strong law for Lpmixingales. These results greatly relax the dependence and heterogeneity conditions relative to those currently cited, and introduce explicit trade-offs between dependence and heterogeneity. The results are applied to proving strong laws for near-epoch dependent functions of mixing processes. We contrast several methods for obtaining these results, including mapping directly to the mixingale properties, and applying a truncation argument.     

Exploring the link between government funding and efficiency in nonprofit colleges

Previous literature has suggested that federal funding can hinder the efficiency of nonprofit organizations, but this has yet not been empirically tested. This study used a two‐stage data envelopment analysis (DEA) model to measure the efficiency of a set of private nonprofit teaching‐oriented colleges, then estimate the impact of federal and state funding on organizational efficiency. The findings indicate that, on average, increases in neither state nor federal funding effect efficiency of nonprofit colleges. Increasing state funding negatively impacted the efficiency of public colleges (N = 799). This study suggests that the challenges for nonprofits that accompany government funding may not rise to a quantifiable negative effect on efficiency.     

“路径依赖”:对农村改革的思考

回顾农村２０年的制度变迁及改革创造的巨大绩效,以家庭联产承包制、乡镇企业和村民自治为主线,可以寻见改革存在路径,即：扩大农民自主权。从经济社会系统的“复杂性”理论角度看,“扩大自主权”这一基层进化的经验经由系统的作用形成了自下而上的组织创新,有助于组织群体的系统转换具有路径依赖性,并以路径效应──政府与农民的互动（自下而上的自发创造与自上而下的自觉选择的互动发展）──拓展积聚了由农民个体自主权扩增而导致的农村社会整体发展效应。现实地看,这一路径必将成为实现农村、农业、农民“三农”现代化的最动态的增效源泉。     

"过牧"的制度解释及治理的制度设计--对玛曲县人草畜紧张关系的制度经济学思考

黄河源区草地生态环境的恶化趋势,并没有因近几年政策的投入而得到遏制.因此,有必要对其形成原因及治理的制度结构进行分析,以厘清此类地区实现可持续发展所必需的制度创新.以黄河源区的玛曲县近三十年过牧历史为案例,对高寒牧区制度变迁中的路径依赖和锁定问题进行了新的阐释,并对可持续性的制度框架进行了设计.
