西方文化和文论中的Image——从比较文化和比较文论的角度看Image(形象/意象/图像)(之一)

Image(形象/图像/意象)是全球化时代文化对话和美学对话中的一个重要主题.从比较文化的角度来看,其在西方主要与三个方面相关:由主客互动而来的影像,主体心理运行的意象,由主体外化而成的艺术形象.这三个方面为image在中国的三种不同译法奠定了基础.     

Local logisitic regression an application to army penetration data

There have been a number of procedures used to analyze non-monotonic binary data to predict the probability of response. Some classical procedures are the Up and Down strategy, the Robbins–Monro procedure, and other sequential optimization designs. Recently, nonparametric procedures such as kernel regression and local linear regression (llogr) have been applied to this type of data. It is a well known fact that kernel regression has problems fitting the data near the boundaries and a drawback with local linear regression is that it may be “too linear” when fitting data from a curvilinear function. The procedure introduced in this paper is called local logistic regression, which fits a logistic regression function at each of the data points. An example is given using United States Army projectile data that supports the use of local logistic regression when analyzing non-monotonic binary data for certain response curves. Properties of local logistic regression will be presented along with simulation results that indicate some of the strengths of the procedure.

文化作为一个民族或者一个团体的生活方式,应该有共同遵守的价值标准。在中国,道德根文化影响着民族的生活方式。路一凡生活在特定的环境中,受到道德根文化的熏染,具有君子之德。他性格的形成具有两方面的原因:周围智者的教化,秀美山水的滋养。由此造就了他肉身欲求与精神欲求和谐一体的美,锤炼了他的文化自信。     

“载道”的乌鸟——辞赋中的乌意象论略

由于地区和时代风俗的不同,人们对乌鸦的喜恶或有差异。但乌鸟意象作为中国文学中较为复杂的意象之一,却一直为文人墨客所喜爱。此意象不仅涵义丰富,而且在辞赋中又和其在诗词中有显著的区别。唐前,辞赋中的乌鸟是作者借以表达"出"、"处"生存观念的寄托,乌意象亦随辞赋作者表情达意的需要"出""处"儒道两家,其中《神乌傅》正反映了作者在"出"、"处"间的徘徊和抉择。有唐一代,乌意象的灵异祥瑞成为辞赋书写的重要内容。宋以降,辞赋中的乌鸟渐渐摆脱了其作为祥瑞之兆的使命,而被赋予了更多的儒家道德品性。此时的乌意象集忠、孝、仁等儒家大加称扬的道德于一身,堪称"奉行"儒家伦理道德的典范。而明代《孝乌赋》,凸显乌鸟意象的"孝"德,是彰扬乌意象孝行的典型作品。     

《焦氏易林》中女性形象的文化意蕴

《焦氏易林》作为汉代四言诗的大观,描写了众多的社会历史人物,其中女性的描写独具特色。在情感和道德的不同领域,赋予了女性不同的色彩,渗透了作者的女性观,也反映了古代女性角色的复杂内涵。     

The female aging body: A systematic review of female perspectives on aging,health, and body image

While most body image research has focused on young female populations, evidence has shown that as few as 12% of older women are satisfied with their body size. Recent studies have also highlighted how anti-aging discourses are promoting unrealistic body norms, which have shown to contribute to poor body image and altered health behaviors. A systematic review of empirical studies focused on older women’s perspectives of health, body image, and the aging body is presented. Findings support that body image is a persistent, lifelong issue for women and should be considered when implementing healthy aging policies and practices.     

Never easy to say “sorry”: Exploring the interplay of crisis involvement,brand image,and message appeal in developing effective corporate apologies

This study examines how the interplay among crisis involvement, brand image, and message appeal impacts the effectiveness of an apology in the context of a corporate crisis. To determine apology effectiveness, a 2 (crisis involvement: high vs. low) × 2 (brand image: symbolic vs. functional) × 2 (message appeal type: emotional vs. informational) experimental design was employed. The results demonstrate that the three-way interaction is significant, especially in the low-crisis involvement condition. The study concludes with a discussion of theoretical and practical implications and directions for future research.     

“抖音”上的个体形象建构与对社会价值观的呼应——兼论书写“抖音”微生活民族志的可能性

人们构建形象、呈现自我的方式在自媒体时代不断发生着转变，这是人类学家不得不关注的现象。赵旭东教授指出，“微信民族志”时代已经到来。本研究认为，“抖音”作为当代青年中最具影响力的短视频平台，可以拓展微信民族志研究，但怎样开展“抖音”微生活民族志研究尚无一些有创建的尝试。本研究首先分析了书写“抖音”微生活民族志的可能性，进而厘清了研究对象，且以此为基础，对“抖音”微生活民族志进行了一种探索性的书写，试分析“抖音”短视频对个体形象建构的主观和客观影响。研究发现，短视频内容文本的反复强化特点促使个体有效建构自我形象；在个体不主动避讳被熟人观看时，他们的线下形象与线上形象基本吻合；看似是网民共同主动筛选出来的网红，实则是当前社会价值观的反映。     

Functional analysis of high-content high-throughput imaging data

High-content automated imaging platforms allow the multiplexing of several targets simultaneously to generate multi-parametric single-cell data sets over extended periods of time. Typically, standard simple measures such as mean value of all cells at every time point are calculated to summarize the temporal process, resulting in loss of time dynamics of the single cells. Multiple experiments are performed but observation time points are not necessarily identical, leading to difficulties when integrating summary measures from different experiments. We used functional data analysis to analyze continuous curve data, where the temporal process of a response variable for each single cell can be described using a smooth curve. This allows analyses to be performed on continuous functions, rather than on original discrete data points. Functional regression models were applied to determine common temporal characteristics of a set of single cell curves and random effects were employed in the models to explain variation between experiments. The aim of the multiplexing approach is to simultaneously analyze the effect of a large number of compounds in comparison to control to discriminate between their mode of action. Functional principal component analysis based on T-statistic curves for pairwise comparison to control was used to study time-dependent compound effects.     

利用数学软件复原碎纸片的方法

研究了碎纸片的拼接复原问题,建立了合理有效的碎纸片拼接复原的数学模型；给出了数学软件实现自动拼接的具体算法；结合人工拼接得出复原图片；最后,对所给的拼接方法提出了改进方向.
