合作与破裂:山东地方官与大刀会关系研究

山东地方官对大刀会、拳会的宽容的政策与态度由来已久，早在甲午中日战争期间，官军就与大刀会形成默契，在共同缉捕盗匪方面取得显著成效，直至义和团在中外联合势力的绞杀下失败，在此期间，大刀会、拳会等名目的民间团体组织与官府的关系就处在一种半合作半破裂的游离状态，即这种宽容政策具有一定的延续性。就义和团运动而言，大刀会等民间会社势力仅仅是为义和团运动构筑的可能性力量而已，程度很高，却极不稳定，它们有待于官方的开掘、引导与锤炼及外力催逼，即官方对刀会、拳会的宽容态度与政策，以及西方列强、教会势力的威逼现实这两种因素，而前者更为重要。     

Informal kin caregivers raising children left behind in rural China: Experiences' feelings' and support

The well‐being of children in informal kinship care and their caregivers is a growing concern globally. This study explored the lived experiences of 23 kin caregivers raising children left behind in rural Northeast China while their migrant parents worked and lived in cities. The findings show that the expected authority and responsibility caregivers carry sometimes conflict with their social role of being children's grandparents. Caregivers' feelings about and understandings of these roles are shaped through their social interactions in local communities. In view of their situation and caregivers' self‐conscious attitudes towards utilizing local resources' future formal service provision and social support should take caregivers' viewpoints into account. These views are embedded in and shaped by their rural living context and relationships with community members who influence caregivers' perceptions and child rearing practices.     

Understanding labour processes in global production networks: a case study of the football industry in Pakistan

ABSTRACT

Over the last few decades, the changing nature of global production and distribution processes has raised a number of critical questions regarding work and employment relations. Presenting a qualitative case study of the football industry in Pakistan as an example of the general mechanism of the social relations of re/production in a global system of industrial organization, this research highlights how and under what conditions informal workers are embedded in extended global production networks. By drawing on the integrated conceptual framework of the global production network (GPN) and labour process theory (LPT), this research sheds light on the working conditions and living realities of informal workers. A potential contribution of this paper is to extend the horizon of production network theory by analysing the work and employment conditions of informal workers, which are absent in existing discussions of these conceptual frameworks.     

A Hitchhiker's Guide to caring for an older person before and during coronavirus‐19

Coronavirus‐19 (COVID‐19) has reconfigured working lives with astonishing velocity. Older people have suffered the worst effects of the pandemic, with governments marginalizing or overlooking their needs. Women perform the majority of care for older people, often compromising their working lives and health. Yet in academic articles their voices are often filtered or aggregated in quantitative studies. Based on a weave of personal experiences and secondary research, the article traces a path through UK forms of care and shows how the inadequate response to COVID‐19 stemmed from existing policies embedded in health and social care. COVID‐19 has severed important informal care work, rendering the vulnerable yet more exposed and carers anxious and bereft. Longitudinal research capturing the trajectory of care from the perspective of older people and their carers would lead to improved support hence gender equality.     

The Politics of Expanding Healthcare Access to the Poor and Informal Sectors

How do the politics of agenda setting and policy adoption operate in the arena of healthcare reform in the industrializing world? Literature on the twenty‐first‐century developmental state emphasizes the role of democratic competition and civil society in causing political parties to take up new agendas, while power resources theory stresses the role of left‐wing political parties and labor unions in policy adoption. Yet, core tenets of these theories have not been considered extensively in light of dynamics in the industrializing world. This article examines the politics of policy adoption in countries that have recently aimed to provide healthcare access and financial protection to the poor and people in the informal sector in Mexico and Turkey. In line with literature on the twenty‐first‐century developmental state, we find democratic competition to play an important role in causing political parties to take up new agendas. However, examination of the cases illuminates surprising dynamics that challenge important elements of sociological theory: right‐leaning political parties played important roles in adoption, while labor unions and left‐wing parties oppose reform in the cases. Public health‐minded physicians leading change teams played important roles in agenda setting and leading the process of implementation.     

郭保林散文创作论

郭保林是有成就、有个性的散文家,也是有自觉的文体意识和创作追求的散文家。他的文体自觉表现在对散文理论和创作规律的深刻认识和准确把握,更表现在他在创作实践中自觉地探索散文的艺术形式,守成创新,不离其宗。他以自觉的艺术实践丰富了散文范式,为散文艺术发展辟径开路,提供了更为开阔的发展空间。郭保林鄙视文坛上的低迷颓败之风,拒绝纠缠鸡毛蒜皮的小悲欢,他要创造具有史诗般品格和浪漫主义精神的散文世界,创造浓墨重彩、瑰丽凝重的散文世界。     

对中国抒情小说定义的再思考

从"抒情小说"定义的提出入手,梳理了该定义在中国现当代小说研究领域的运用和变化,讨论了研究者对这种非传统小说体式的不同理解与侧重,分析了"抒情小说"、"散文化小说"、"诗化小说"等概念之间的差异,总结了抒情小说对文学文类特征的综合与吸收,并提出了对抒情小说进行研究的价值与意义.     

尤袤诗文系年补正

北京大学古文献研究所编《全宋诗》收尤袤诗64首,仅少量诗原题有系年;四川大学古籍研究所编《全宋文》收尤袤文56篇,只38篇明确列出写作年代。尤袤诗文系年卓有成效的学者是四川大学古籍研究所的吴洪泽,吴先生确定了尤袤诗30首、文41篇的写作年代。笔者对吴先生的尤袤诗文系年成果进行补正,涉及诗9首、文10篇。     

文话:古代文学批评的重要学术资源

文话是中国古代文学批评的重要著作体裁,除具有说部性质、随笔式的狭义“文话”外,还有理论性专著、资料汇编式、选本评点式等不同著作类型。这四种著作类型都在宋代开始集中出现,标志着我国古代文章学的成立,在明清两代更显繁荣。其在文道、文气、文境、文体、文术、品评等方面,均蕴含真知灼见和艺术经验。对其价值的评判,经过对“五四”的反思,当能更趋全面和科学。     

新闻美文概念产生的原因及发展趋势

在传统媒体向新兴媒体融合的过程中,以新华社为代表的一批富有创新精神和精品意识的新闻人,在新闻实践中对通讯报道的文本进行文学尝试,作品获中国新闻奖特别奖引发全国关注。据此,提出新闻美文的概念,分析了原因和启示,揭示了新闻美文下一步的趋势,认为新闻美文的时代业已到来。
