中俄民族习俗礼仪之比较

对外交往能否顺利成功进行,取决于交往者能否准确掌握和运用对方的礼仪。两国在交流中,相互了解对方的民族习惯和交往礼仪,能避免相互的矛盾冲突,使交往在有礼有节中顺利进行。因此,深入了解和准确掌握各国习俗和礼仪非常重要。本文主要就中华民族和俄罗斯民族的习俗在人生价值观、等级观念、男女社会地位以及交往礼仪方面的差异进行了比较,以期能更好地促进中俄民族间的相互了解和交往。

弱势群体是一种普遍的社会存在,文章从经济状况、社会地位、自身素质及心理承受能力四个维度界定其范围,分析现有的弱势群体救助机制的局限性,并阐述了社区在救助弱势群体中的重要作用。     

古汉语"叠韵"韵母、韵同说驳议及韵部相同说申诉

凡大型辞书及现行《古代汉语》教材在谈到叠韵时,或主两个字韵母相同说,或主两个字的韵相同说,《辞海》主主要元音和韵尾相同说。本文通过对叠韵词的剖析,指出了前两种说法同语言事实的矛盾,并进而阐明了叠韵为韵部相同的观点。     

NOTES TOWARDS A THEORY OF THE DEMOCRATIC LIMIT

A meaningful discussion about the democratic limit or boundary is only now beginning. Martha Nussbaum's call for a world citizenship in response to the terrorist bombings of 9/11 has animated this conversation in the USA. In South Africa, the political transition from apartheid to democracy keeps running-up against the substance of the ‘people’. In the absence of any ‘traditional’ unifying principles (of language, culture, religion, race and so on), the identity of South Africans is elusive. We might note too that much of the cosmopolitan literature on democracy appeals to a shift in scale, from the territorial state to the world or globe or even planet. One of the key gaps in democratic theory, however, has been its failure to conceptualize such a limit. How can democrats discriminate between citizen and non-citizen without being discriminatory? This is the question that this article seeks to address. It does so by following a major development in the work of Ernesto Laclau – from his collaboration with Chantal Mouffe in their groundbreaking work Hegemony and Socialist Strategy to his most recent book On Populist Reason.     

The Purposeful Use of Performance in Groups: A New Look at the Balance of Task and Process

ABSTRACT

This paper explores the purposeful use of performance in an arts-based activity group that is rooted in social group work. It identifies the presence of three interconnected purposes: (1) a skill-acquisition purpose, (2) a performance-based purpose, and (3) a socioemotional purpose. This three-fold purpose introduces certain challenges throughout the life of the group, including the worker's negotiation of her role and the balance of task and process. The paper also discusses the benefits of the task-oriented goal of performance in the context of social group work. Illustrations from a co-ed pre-adolescent dance group are provided throughout the paper.     

民生:历史的追求与现实的选择

在20世纪,孙中山、毛泽东、邓小平都以民生为出发点,对中国现代化道路进行了探索和选择,但他们对命题的揭示和实践路径却不相同。在新的时代条件下,民生内涵有了新的扩展,民生思想进一步得以张扬。十七大报告全面阐述了民生问题在中国特色社会主义发展中的地位,完整地揭示了这一命题深刻的时代意义和实践要求。回顾历史,展望未来,可以说,社会主义与现代化,是民族振兴的历史追求与现实选择,民生在其中具有根本性意义。     

Racist attitudes,out‐groups and the Australian experience

Australia today is a culturally diverse nation with people from over 190 different countries claiming 300 different ancestries. But despite an official commitment to diversity, contemporary Australian society continues to experience tensions between multicultural policies and a legacy of Anglo privilege and cultural dominance. To assess this, the Challenging Racism Project conducted a national survey, commissioned by the Special Broadcasting Service, to gauge the nature and extent of racist attitudes and experience of racism across Australia during July–August 2015 and November 2015. Results show that sociodemographic characteristics show little contemporary relationship to racist attitudes. Age, once associated with “old” racist attitudes, is no longer significant. On the other hand, Anglo privilege is empirically linked to racism through notions of social dominance. We conclude that it is to the media, and to public discourse generally, to which future research attention, using critical discourse analysis, should turn in efforts to make Australia a fairer, more tolerant, multicultural society.
