社会转型对农村籍大学生的成才影响

来自农村的大学生有着与来自城市不尽相同的人生经历和社会背景,在日常学习和生活中关注他们的思想动态,根据当前社会条件对他们进行教育引导,促进他们的健康成长,是构建社会主义和谐社会对高校教育提出的时代要求。通过分析在这个特定历史阶段下农村大学生在学习方式、生活模式、心理健康、择业就业等方面受到的影响,有针对性地就农村大学生的角色调适性提出相应的建议。     

The longitudinal effects of influence of parental attachment and emotion regulation on Internet delinquency in early adolescence

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to identify the longitudinal influence of parental attachment and emotion regulation on changes in Internet delinquency. This study used the Korean Youth Panel Survey (KYPS) data, in which 2,844 school-age children were annually assessed from Grade 4 in 2004 to Grade 8 in 2008 in South Korea. Latent growth models were used to examine developmental trajectories of Internet delinquency, parental attachment, and emotion regulation longitudinally. This study showed that adolescents experience an increase in Internet delinquency over the fourth year and a decline in the fifth year. The initial level of parental monitoring had significant effects on the initial level of emotion regulation. In addition, the initial level of parental attachment was associated with a slower rate of acceleration of Internet delinquency across time. The study findings indicate that parental attachment influences Internet delinquency among Korean adolescents. The practice implications of the findings are discussed in terms of Internet delinquency reduction efforts.     

Trends in the History of Vocational Guidance

In this article, the relationships between vocational guidance and vocational education, employment counseling, career guidance, and career counseling are explored. Also examined are the wide‐ranging federal and state policies that have stimulated and shaped the professional history of vocational guidance, vocational policy, and contemporary terms.     

Social Support

The purpose of this two year study was to understand the provision of social support to recently divorced women with children from the perspective of the primary support person. Each of 157 women identified her primary support. Friends, boyfriends, and parents were the most common sources of support. Two-thirds of the women changed their primary support person over the study period. The primary supports were interviewed three times over two years and asked to describe the support they provided and the reciprocity of their relationship. Eleven types of support were described with availing, direct support, distancing, and valuing identified most often. Availing was presented as the most helpful type of support and intruding, the least helpful. Reciprocity was perceived as slightly better than moderate.     

Children's Behavior Problems in Single-Parent and Married-Parent Families

Abstract

A model integrating prevailing perspectives on children's functioning following divorce was used to predict children's behavior problems. The data were collected from 30 custodial mothers, 30 custodial fathers, and 30 married parents with children 6 to 10 years of age, using face-to-face interviews and standardized questionnaires. Results using path analysis indicated that marital status and parental control had significant direct effects on children's behavior problems. Sex of parent, economic strain, co-parental conflict, coping with roles, and parenting indirectly influenced children's behavior through parental control. The findings suggest that the pressures inherent in raising a child alone, combined with too few resources for coping with role demands, are disruptive to both parenting and parental control, and that children in single-parent families appear to respond to these deficits with disruptive behaviors. Implications for family practice and policy are discussed.

“别琴英语”是华人在早期中外贸易交往的实践中逐步发明的中英混杂语言。由于晚清对外贸易的特殊性,“别琴英语”由“广州英语”发展到“洋泾浜英语”。“别琴英语”虽是一种很不规范的英语,但它却具有很强的实用性,对当今英语教学也有一定的指导意义。
