流体力学多媒体教学的探讨

针对流体力学课程理论性强,课程实验多,实验受条件限制大的特点,并结合多年的教学实践经验,制作了多媒体课件,在理论和实践的教学效果上作了有益的探索和研究。     

ITS中汽车电子监测技术的研究与设计

针对交通系统的复杂性,提出了一种采用汽车电子技术的车辆安全行驶状况监测方案,对汽车行驶中的异常现象进行实时监测。系统采用组件化开发方式,并在此基础上创建了基本的监测模型。系统以组件的形式装配,易于开发、维护和管理,具有一定的实用性。     

Approximate optimal allocation in repeated sampling from a finite population

Samples of size n are drawn from a finite population on each of two occasions. On the first occasion a variate x is measured, and on the second a variate y. In estimating the population mean of y, the variance of the best linear unbiased combination of means for matched and unmatched samples is itself minimized, with respect to the sampling design on the second occasion, by a certain degree of matching. This optimal allocation depends on the population correlation coefficient, which previous authors have assumed known. We estimate the correlation from an initial matched sample, then an approximately optimal allocation is completed and an estimator formed which, under a bivariate normal superpopulation model, has model expected mean square error equal, apart from an error of order n^-2, to the minimum enjoyed by any linear, unbiased estimator.

无线通信专业主要为社会培养通信领域的应用型高级工程技术人才。无线通信技术发展日新月异。科学合理地建立通信工程人才培养模式和课程结构体系,可以有效培养出适应通信工程领域需求的高素质创新人才。     

The importance of being mature: the effect of demographic maturation on global per capita GDP

Given that savings behaviour and worker productivity have strong life-cycle components and given that demographic profiles vary across countries, population age structure should be linked to differences in levels of economic development. In this paper, we measure the economic importance of age structure variation for the global economy. We find that demographic maturation has been associated with nearly half of the evolution of global per capita GDP since 1960. We also find that age structure differences can account for just over half of the variation in worldwide per capita GDP (i.e. the lack of sigma convergence) observed since 1960.

The consequences of unobserved heterogeneity in a sequential logit model

Cameron and Heckman (1998) established that a sequential logit model is more sensitive than many other models to the possible biasing influence of unobserved heterogeneity. This article proposes a method which allows researchers to find out how large this potential problem is for their data, their model, and their hypothesis of interest. This is done by proposing a set of scenarios for this unobserved heterogeneity, and showing how to estimate the effects of interest given these scenarios. The set of results from these scenarios give an indication of how sensitive the results are to assumptions regarding unobserved heterogeneity. This sensitivity analysis has been applied to a study of educational attainment in the Netherlands, and it showed that that the finding that the effect of father's education declined over transitions is quite sensitive to the assumptions made about unobserved heterogeneity, but that the finding that the effect of father's education declined over birth cohorts is more robust than is often feared.
