规模养殖户对疫病防控公共服务的满意度研究

利用霍邱、肥东、长丰三县调研数据,构建logit模型分析养殖户对疫病防控公共服务的满意度及其影响因素.研究结果表明,规模养殖户满意度受到养殖年数、预防免疫认知度、畜牧主管部门培训、畜牧兽医行政管理部门免疫消毒是否及时四个因素的高度影响,养殖时间越长、对预防免疫认知度越高、培训越规范、免疫消毒越及时,养殖户的满意表现越高;其次政府主导的防疫体系,其目标导向与养殖户自身的目标并不完全一致,是政府投入逐渐增加、防疫效果未能改善的主要原因.     

河南城镇化进程中的犯罪问题研究

河南省城镇化实施中心城市带动战略,对犯罪形势变化将产生深刻的影响:犯罪率将呈现先升后降最终稳定的态势;流动人口犯罪、青少年犯罪、女性犯罪、职务犯罪等将会激增;各种类型犯罪在短期内都会大量增加;一些社会管理控制相对薄弱的"边缘地带"有可能成为犯罪孳生地。河南省应实行综合治理的犯罪防控战略。     

社会学视角下女性犯罪的思考

从构建和谐社会的高度来思考女性犯罪的预防,就是通过关注女性这个弱势群体的教育状态与就业发展空间,正视女性犯罪的诱发因素,进而从提高女性自身素质与关注女性就业方面进行女性犯罪预防,以维护社会稳定,构建和谐社会.     

Schools must include faculty and staff in sexual violence prevention efforts

Creating a normative campus environment intolerant to sexual violence is important for prevention. While prevention initiatives focusing on students are vital, faculty and staff have a central role in supporting and sustaining a comprehensive strategy for preventing campus sexual violence. Nationwide, colleges and universities recently implemented campus climate surveys. At Emory, we decided to survey faculty and staff as well as students, motivated by our use of an ecological framing of campus sexual violence. Faculty and staff are long-term members of the community, and can provide stability and continuity that reinforces prevention efforts prioritized for students. We recommend that schools use a trauma-informed approach to guide the involvement of faculty and staff in prevention. We encourage colleges and universities to consider the experiences and needs of their faculty and staff, as professionals who serve as leaders on campus and as those who guide students through their academic experiences.     

On inference for Kendall's τ within a longitudinal data setting

Kendall's τ is a non-parametric measure of correlation based on ranks and is used in a wide range of research disciplines. Although methods are available for making inference about Kendall's τ, none has been extended to modeling multiple Kendall's τs arising in longitudinal data analysis. Compounding this problem is the pervasive issue of missing data in such study designs. In this article, we develop a novel approach to provide inference about Kendall's τ within a longitudinal study setting under both complete and missing data. The proposed approach is illustrated with simulated data and applied to an HIV prevention study.

Improving Flood Risk Communication by Focusing on Prevention‐Focused Motivation

This article proposes an approach to flood risk communication that gives particular emphasis to the distinction between prevention and promotion motivation. According to E. Tory Higgins, the promotion system and the prevention system are assumed to coexist in every person, but one or the other may be temporarily or chronically more accessible. These insights have far‐reaching implications for our understanding of people's reasoning about risks. Flood risk communication framed in terms of prevention involves the notions of chance and harm, woven into a story about particular events that necessitate decisions to be more careful about safety issues and protect one's family and oneself from danger. The article describes how the insights worked out in practice, using a flood risk communication experiment among a sample from the general population in a highly populated river delta of the Netherlands. It had a posttest‐only control group design (n = 2,302). The results showed that risk communication had a large effect on the participants’ responses and that this effect was higher among chronic prevention‐focused people than among others. Any information that increased the fit between a prevention‐framed message and a person's chronic prevention motivation produced stronger situationally induced, prevention‐focused responses. This may significantly improve communication about risks. In contrast, the notion of water city projects, featuring waterside living, had more appeal to promotion‐focused people.     

海峡两岸跨境经济犯罪防治问题研究

当前很有必要深化对海峡两岸间跨境经济犯罪之惩治与防范的研究。跨越海峡两岸的经济犯罪与大陆地区和台湾地区的境内经济犯罪有着不同的表现,而海峡两岸刑事法学界对此的概括和分析也有所不同。这些差异对海峡两岸司法机关开展相关的刑事司法合作有一定的影响。海峡两岸司法机关可在侦查、起诉、审判和执行等刑事诉讼阶段展开合作,但需要特别注意妥当处理司法效率与司法公正的关系,以利于对海峡两岸跨境经济犯罪的有效防治。大陆地区需要立足于自身情况,结合海峡两岸跨境犯罪的具体特点,采取合理的预防措施。     

Mentoring Siblings of Gang Members: A Template for Reaching Families of Gang Members?

Mentoring has become a popular model of intervention to reduce the risk of offending, and has been proposed as an effective tool to tackle the risk of gang membership. This paper reviews the existing literature on mentoring and reports on a qualitative evaluation of a mentoring programme targeted at young people ‘at risk’ of gang membership in an English city. The study highlights important issues around these interventions. Although we found it a useful way to engage otherwise hard‐to‐reach families, important limitations remain: their potential labelling impact and their limited impact in isolation from other more ambitious measures.
