“Youth-focused” versus “whole-family” screen rules: Associations with social media difficulties and moderation by impulsivity

Many parents attempt to limit adolescents' screen time without changing their own habits. We examined whether “whole-family” versus “youth-focused” restrictions differentially predict social media-related difficulties (procrastination and problematic use), and whether adolescents' impulsive social media behaviors moderated these relationships. Among 183 Chinese early adolescents (58.5% female), whole-family rules negatively predicted procrastination. Impulsivity moderated associations between rulemaking approaches and social media difficulties; youth-focused rules negatively predicted procrastination and problematic use for highly impulsive adolescents, while whole-family rules held no associations or predicted increased difficulties. For less impulsive adolescents, however, whole-family rules negatively predicted social media difficulties and youth-focused rules positively predicted problematic use. Results suggest that setting the implementation of screen rules should involve parental participation and consideration of individual differences.     

Lockdown Learnings: No Longer the Mirrored Room

During the COVID‐19 lockdown in Aotearoa/New Zealand, a discussion panel was convened comprising of family therapy students and experienced family therapists to investigate the effects of the use of online digital mediums for family therapy. This article discusses the learnings from that panel. It seems that the use of a screen can change the power dynamic between therapist and client family, perhaps levelling the field slightly and resulting in implications for the therapeutic relationship. Suggestions for practice are given and the situation is likened to that of the ‘mirrored room’ proposed by Hare‐Mustin (1994).

AMC用于传输、辐射及散射问题的研究进展

介绍了人工磁导体用于波导传输、天线辐射和隐身材料的研究进展。通过金属导体和人工磁导体构造虚拟电/磁壁,设计了新型的平行板波导;利用人工磁导体作反射板,可实现低剖面天线系统的设计,并且通过改变极化依赖型人工地板上偶极子的取向,能够获得圆极化辐射特性;通过在人工磁导体上加载合适的电阻,可设计超薄的雷达吸波材料;利用人工磁导体反射相位特性,可设计低RCS的反射屏。     

基于PLC和触摸屏技术的针梳机控制系统

B423针梳机及所配的自调匀整装置均为纯机械式装置,控制系统智能化程度不高,产品精度及效率低。针对这些缺点,文章提出了基于PLC和触摸屏的控制系统,该系统以PLC为核心,对传感器采集的针梳机实时数据进行存储、计算及传输,控制整机的运行状态。同时与触摸屏进行通讯,将整机运行数据以动态图的形式显示,并接受触摸屏给定的工艺参数来控制执行元件,实现了操作人员与针梳机的人机对话功能。通过在B423型针梳机上的调试,本系统操作简单,智能化程度高,提高了产品的质量及效率。

池莉小说改编在今天这个文化转型时期,具有典型意义和样本作用。在审美取向上,她的小说与其改编作品之间均注重对人生经验、庸常琐事的刻画并呈现出相似的日常生活审美化特征;在创作方式上,改编作品将原著的“零度”情感变成了较为煽情的伦理化表达。从文学到影视,相融相通又相异,有得又有失,突出了影视改编对文学取长补短的作用。

屏风文化在中国古典装饰艺术领域中有着独特的文化艺术价值,自春秋时期至今经过上千年的演变,屏风的审美语言和实用功能语言都发生了很多变化。目前,屏风文化的研究往往集中在家居装饰领域,对于这一文化中的艺术语言方面没有进行深入细致的分析和探讨。文章通过回顾屏风文化的发展脉络、传统制作工艺技术和材料种类等方面,从深层次的角度探析这一文化独特的艺术语言。

The tele-technics of agency,the Net,the urban and sex tourism

This paper examines the effects of various tele-technologies (technologies at a distance) on the subject-object relationship within a context of Western conceptualizations about agency, self-other, and thought in relation to action. To examine these effects, the article uses the Internet postings of sex tourists as well as an example of ubiquitous media and screen culture in the form of a Hollywood film. How the loss of writing at a spatial and temporal distance influences these sex tourists, as well as how mass media (cinema) merge anxieties about the subject-object relationship with concerns about the status of individual agency supposedly enhanced by these tele-technologies is considered in the light of how thought has been constructed and understood from the early twentieth century to the present. The media through which thought and action are mediated become the focus of the inquiry.
