| 摘 要： | 在“父神”上帝死亡之后，奥尼尔试图重建“母神”信仰：对“大海母亲”的信仰与对“圣母玛丽亚”的信仰。前者重建人与自然的精神性联系，后者中蕴涵着“爱”与“宽恕”的价值追求。此二者对处孕“人和自然”、“人与自身”、“人与人”之间的矛盾，对建构人与自然、人与人的和谐关系，即造就“和谐社会”有着重要的意义。

| Abstract: | After God was dead, Eugene O＇Neill recreated the faith in God the Mother. The faith in the Sea Mother provides men with religious feelings for nature, and presents a sustainable approach to the issue of man and nature; His faith in Virgin Mary is embodied with love and forgiveness. As a whole, his faith in God the Mother is significant in creating harmonious society between man and nature, man and himself, and man and man. |
