| Abstract: | The thesis discusses the nature of ambiguity in the Chinese language expression from 3 aspects： the types, scopes and functions of ambiguity. It also analyzes the factors contributing to ambiguity in terms of such respects as part of speech, different structures etc. and then comes up with some opinions about how to eliminate ambiguity. |
