熙宁变法失败原因新探

历来对王安石变法失败的原因议论纷纭.本文从改革是治标还是治本、节支还是增支、缓和矛盾还是激化矛盾、改革是否需要一个和平的外部环境等四个方面重新探讨了这场变法失败的原因.作者认为这场改革运动缺乏制度的保障,改革者只重增收不重节支,改革也没有处理好统治阶级内部及统治阶级与被统治阶级之间的关系,而且改革没有一个和平安宁的环境支持,因此,最终导致了变法的失败.

Inquiry into the Causes for the Failure of Xi-ning Reform

A lot of research work has been done into the causes for the failure of Xi-ning Reform.A different perspective has been taken in this paper to make the inquiry.It is argued that attention should be paid to some important facts.At the time,the system did not stand guarantee for the Reform,and the reformers laid emphasis only on increasing the income but not on cutting down expenses.On the other hand,the relationships within the ruling class and between the ruling and ruled classes were not properly handled,so that there was no support from a peaceful environment.The author holds that all these working together led to the failure of the Reform
