以《新青年》杂志为主要载体的新文化运动紧紧围绕着现代与传统、东方与西方、新与旧的命题展开,但这一切总是摆不开道德伦理的基线.在《新青年》同仁为新的道德伦理鸣锣开道的同时,他们又不自觉地陷入了传统伦理至上主义的泥淖.近代启蒙的宿命告诉我们,20世纪中国现代性的演进无时不充满着吊诡.正是在这个意义上,我们把《新青年》视为一个新型的内圣外王文本.
