朱光潜的文艺与道德关系论

朱光潜不是一个否定文艺与道德关系的美学家 ,这与中国传统文化重视道德的社会作用有直接关联 ,也与朱光潜希望改造社会的愿望有关。但朱光潜对文艺与道德关系的三种解答 ,没有解决文艺与道德的内在联系问题 ,他对文艺与道德特性的区别是模糊的。

Zhu Guangqian's View on the Relationship Between Literature and Morality

Zhu Guangqian was not an aesthete who denied th e relationship between literature and morality. This is partially because he was i nfluenced by traditional Chinese culture which emphasizes the social role of mor ality, and also that he had a strong desire to reform Chinese society. But even though Zhu Guangqian made three explanations for the relationship between litera ture and morality, he could not find a way out of the difficulty concerning the inner link between literature and morality. As a result, Zhu Guangqian could not see clearly the distinction between literature and morality with regard to thei r specific properties.
