| Abstract: | As the main part of the northwest of China,the five provinces along the Silk Road constitute the key area in which the West Development Project is carried out.This paper presents the prosperity and decline of that area in the history.It is claimed that proper policy support and legal guarantee should be offered in the development of the provinces along the Silk Road. |
