The Viewpoints on "Yihetuan" in the Second Half of the 20th Century

After the national reconstruction,how to know and appraise ＂the Yihetuan＂, along with the modernized movement in new China＇s expansion, was still an important attention spot in the Chinese present thought and cultural history. Revolving the two questions of ＂ how to regard farmer＇s status and function during Chinese modernization process＂ and ＂How to regard the relations between the West capitalism civilization and the Chinese modernization＂, the viewpoints of ＂Yihetuan＂ experiences such several stage change, such as ＂the high tide of modern revolution＂, ＂the forerunner of ＇anti-capitalist ,anti-feudal and anti-revisionist forerunner＇ ＂, ＂the＇disenchantment＇of the myth ＂and ＂the deepening of the cognition of ＇Yihetuan＇from the 90s till now.
