Exploration on the Low-carbon Economy Thoughts of the Contemporary Western Scholars

From Kenneth E. Boulding＇s theory of ＂spaceship economics＂ to Brown＇s theory of ＂circular economics＂, western scholars＇ thoughts of low-carbon economics are embodied well. Despite their different emphasis on the essential connotations of circular economics, they are in common on low-carbon economics ： low-carbon is the basic way of sustainable development; natural resources have become the restricted factor to develop low-carbon economics; prevention in origin is critical to solve pollution; the circular economics＇ models should follow the nature＇s example and be designed systematically; government plays an important role in developing circular economics.
