| Abstract: | This paper, based on the analysis of the coherence of the English version of Six Chapters of a Floating Life by Lin Yutang and Martin Luther's translation regulations, points out that Chinese translation in the new century should achieve the unity of seeking common ground and reserving differences. It should widely critically assimilate the translative traditions of the world, while keeping and showing our own culture's independence and depth. |
