广东省普通本科院校教育资源分布特征探讨

在当今知识经济发展迅猛的背景下,一个地区的高等教育资源越来越成为衡量一个地区发展核心竞争力的标准之一.通过对广东省内各个地级市普通本科院校的数量、层次结构、在校学生总数、学校占地面积、校舍面积、图书藏量、专任教师和副高职称以上教师等指标的统计分析,并结合首位规模、首位比、分布系数1和分布系数2等指标来综合分析广东省高校教育资源的分布不均衡现象,从而得出广东省普通本科院校教育资源空间分布特征:广东省普通本科院校教育资源空间分布非常不平衡,高校教育资源过度集中于广州市,而其他地区高校教育资源较为匮乏,这与经济增长极效应有着密切联系.

Distribution Characterization Analysis of Education Resources of Universities in Guangdong Province

In the background that the knowledge-based economy is developing,higher education re-sources in a region have increasingly become one of the core standards to measure the development of a re-gional competitiveness.By the statistics of indicators such as the number of universities,the hierarchy, the total number of students,the school area,the school building area,book reserves,full-time teachers and teachers over vice-senior for universities in Guangdong province,with the use of the first scale,the first ratio,analysis of the distribution coefficient 1 and the distribution coefficient 2 ,a comprehensive a-nalysis of the space distribution of higher education resources in Guangdong Province is made.Finally,the spatial distribution characteristics of Guangdong Province universities＇education resources are concluded：there is an imbalance in the distribution of universities＇education resources in Guangdong province,while higher education resources in Guangzhou are excessively collected,and other areas＇higher education re-sources are scarce,the cause of which is the influence of economic growth pole.
