The Influence of Hermeneutics and Reception Esthetics on Studies of Chinese Classical Poetics in the Past Two Decades

In the past two decades,Chinese scholars have been adapting western theories of hermeneutics and reception esthetics to the study of Chinese classical poetics.They have attempted to establish new frameworks of analysis in constructing Chinese classical poetics.Their endeavor has helped to promote and deepen this particular field of study,throwing light on the comparison of Chinese and western poetics and the modern transformation of Chinese classical poetics.
