《现代汉语词典》古词语释义商榷

作为我国使用最广的权威语文辞书《现代汉语词典》,其释义达到了较高的质量。通过研究发现,该书所涉古词语占全书相当比重,但其释义存在问题较多,浑释就是其中之一,浑释导致所释词义不别事物的区别特征,乃辞书释义之大忌,而《现汉》的古词语浑释条目所占比重不小。今选取其中较有代表性的部分条目,逐条进行辨析订正。

Reviewing and Correcting the Defects of Explaining Ancient Chinese Words and Phrases in "Contemporary Chinese Dictionary"

As an authoritative language dictionary,"the Contemporary Chinese Dictionary"is widely used. It is prominent in explanation.I find that the explanations of ancient Chinese words and phrases in this book, although occupying a large scale, are not satisfying. There are so many defects that I can say.It is said that those explanations can not disclose characters which distinguish one word from others.Now I pick out some of those items to analyse and correct.In short, I hope this paper may arouse more attention to this facet, and can improve the quality of the "Contemporary Chinese Dictionary".
